Construction
THE SAVANNAH IS MANUFACTURED BY I.C.P. SRL, IN NORTHERN ITALY. THE FACTORY UTILISES “STATE OF THE ART” CNC COMPUTER CONTROLLED MANUFACTURING TECHNIQUES, ENABLING HIGH QUALITY AND EASE OF BUILDING AT REDUCED COST.
Jigs are not required (air rivet gun and Clecos are supplied in the kit).
All sheet metal is cut to correct dimensions, bent or moulded where required, then drilled and de-burred ready for blind riveting. Parts requiring solid rivets are supplied finished ready for assembly (wing spar and some fuselage parts).
Savannah Manual
The comprehensive build manual has lots of pictures and illustrations to assist with understanding the text descriptions.
The Spare Parts Manual is also useful as it contains detailed exploded drawings of each sub-assembly in the aircraft together with the part numbers and a description.
