• Savannah VG Sport

    The Savannah VG “Sport” is a development of the Savannah “Classic”, where the leading edge slats have been removed, the wing leading edge re-profiled and vortex generators added.


    This produces an aircraft with almost identical STOL performance to the Savannah “Classic” but with a much improved cruise speed, climb rate and glide ratio.

    The boundary layer energising vortex generators and re-profiled leading edge result in a take-off ground roll of 45 metres (compared to the Savannah “Classic” 35 metres) but with a 15 mph increase in cruise speed, a 120 fpm increase in climb rate and a 40% increase in power off glide distance.


    The SavannahVG “Sport” really is an aircraft for all seasons, STOL, crosswind resistant, 100 mph cruise and very competitively priced.
